Hygienic Control Valves

In many industries, purity commands top priority. Sterile valves from Schubert & Salzer and Albert Hadtman Armaturen operate to the highest requirements for purity with maximum efficiency: The bodies are CIP and SIP capable, to avoid contamination by bacteria. In addition, these aseptic valves have no dead spaces.

Very good control and ideal hygienic conditions are often a contradiction in terms. 6020 and 6021 sterile control valves from Schubert & Salzer Control Systems satisfy both tasks perfectly. These right angle valves offer ideal prerequisites above all for the food and drinks industries, but also for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemicals.

Schubert & Salzer Hygienic Proportional Y-Type Piston Valve

The hygienic Y-Type piston control valve type 7025 with integrated digital positioner is specially adapted for use in food and beverage production. It is suitable for controlling product flows, drinking water, CO2, nitrogen, sterile steam, and sterile air.

All seals in contact with the fluid are FDA-compliant and comply with EC Regulation 1935/2004 and EU Plastics Regulation 10/2011. The hygienic angle seat valve is also Technical Instructions for Air Quality Control (TA-Luft) certified according to ISO 15848-1 and can be supplied with an acceptance test certificate according to EN10204 3.1 on request.

Schubert & Salzer Hygienic on-off Y-Type Piston Valve

The hygienic Y-Type Piston valve type 7015 is ideal for food and beverage manufacturing applications. The valve can be used to shut off product flows, potable water, CO2, nitrogen, sterile steam, and sterile air.

The soft seals in contact with the fluid are FDA compliant and comply with EC Regulation 1935/2004 and EU Plastics Regulation 10/2011. Our hygienic Y-Type Piston valves are also certified for Technical Instructions for Air Quality Control (TA-Luft) according to ISO 15848-1 and can be supplied with an acceptance test certificate according to EN10204 3.1 on request.

Albert Hadtmann Double Seat Mixproof Butterfly Valves

For reliable separation of different media

  • Hygienic Design: Reduced number of seals (3+2) and a fluid area designed according to EHEDG meet the highest hygiene requirements.

  • Simplicity: Thanks to the screwed connection between the top and bottom of the double-seat valve, the valve seat is resistant to twisting, allowing for repeatable installation after replacing the seal. Leaks caused by incorrect installation can be eliminated.

  • Flexibility: Variable 360° connection combined with multiple body combinations allows any custom pipe design.

  • Safety: The one-piece, large valve body with compensator is insensitive to pressure fluctuations up to 45 bar.

  • Safety: The sealed body with wash chambers prevents product contact with the environment. Inside the double-seated valve, a single-seated, leak-chambered, and self-draining valve body with balancing cleaning ensures hygienic, loss-free, and safe production.
